Aqua, lime green, pale blue, cobalt and grass green murrini circles and ovals spiral out from the center in ever larger sizes on a stunning hand blown glass platter. Intricate, finely threaded patterns fill in the spaces between the ovals in alternating lime green and white.

The gently rippling edge is banded with transparent blue-green.

Murrini, in Italian, means colored patterns or images in glass. It's like a glass mosaic, fusing together many layers of glass.  Flower-like images created from murrini are called "millefiori"- thousand flowers.
