An incredible and rarely seen Vintage Rolex Submariner Tropical Wristwatch Circa 1981. The 18K yellow gold Oyster case and bracelet are in unpolished condition. Bevels and lug tips are thick and full. General scratches and marks in keeping with its age. Case and bracelet have a beautiful "old gold" hue from lack of polishing. Oyster case hallmarks are fully distinguishable. Tropical Submariner dial has gorgeous creamy colored hour plots with matching hands and bezel pearl. 18K Yellow Gold 92908 clasp is stamped "F" on opposite side, indicating a 1981 production date correlating with the serial number on the Oyster case. Three removable links are included and will fit a 7.5" wrist size. Caliber 3035 Oyster Perpetual automatic movement is running. To ensure additional safety when being worn we've changed all the gaskets, added a new 18K gold safety lock on clasp, new 18K gold divers extension kit, new sapphire crystal, and new 18K gold spring bars for Oyster case and clasp- All Factory Rolex. Very rarely do you see these 18K gold Submariners kept in unpolished condition, let alone with a tropical purple dial.
